The purpose of this award is to present a scholarship to a deserving Cecil County Public High School senior who will be attending Cecil College in the fall as a full time or part time student. The student who submits the best essay concerning good citizenship and/or civic responsibility (the theme this year is “Why it’s important to be an informed voter”, will be the winner of this scholarship. It is the intention of the club to present this scholarship each year to two Cecil County Public High School seniors.
